A.
General
1. Enrollment in the Grand Reward is completely free of charge.
2. Members must be aware of and comply with all Rules and Regulations
of the Grand Reward. program. Each Member assumes responsibility
for regularly keeping up to date regarding said Rules and Regulations
such that they are always aware of their rights and responsibilities.
3. Accumulated points have no monetary value. Earned Grand
Reward. points are non-transferable, and their sale,
gift, or transfer into any account other than that of the Member
who earned them is strictly prohibited.Grand
Reward. points are not to be bought, sold or otherwise
transferred. Violators shall be liable for damages, legal fees,
and operation costs arising therefrom
4. Grand Reward reserves the
right to modify or terminate the rules, regulations, privileges,
benefits, travel rewards or special offers under the Grand
Reward, program, in full or in part, as necessary, at
its sole discretion, with or without notice. This should be understood
to mean that the Grand Reward
program may introduce changes affecting, for example, member enrollment,
point-accumulation rules, point levels, and reward tables.
5. In the event of termination of the Grand Reward, program, all points accumulated by members
shall be cancelled by Grand Reward,
and therefore it shall not be liable for accumulated points or unclaimed
or unused rewards should the program be terminated in part or in
full.
6. Grand Reward may from time
to time add new participating companies. In such an event, members
shall be informed, by whichever means it considers to be in its
best interest, regarding such an addition and the conditions imposed
by these companies. Additionally, hotels, car rental companies,
and other participating companies may terminate their participation
without notice.
7. Point accumulation and the use of rewards offered by participating
companies are subject to their permanence within the Grand Reward program.Grand Reward shall not be liable for rewards redeemed
but unused during said participating period.
8. Membership Cards issued to participants to identify them as such
remain the property of the Grand Reward program and must be surrendered upon request.
9. Grand Reward reserves the
right to cancel the membership of any participant who, in the opinion
of the Grand Rewardprogram,
has committed fraud, abuse, or other misuse of earned points, benefits,
rewards, or otherwise violated any Grand
Reward regulations, as well as if so requested to Grand
Reward by a hotel. Upon revocation, Member shall lose
all membership rights, including all earned points, privileges and
benefits, and may be subject to administrative and/or legal action
by the Grand Reward program. Member’s account shall also be
cancelled immediately and individual shall be kept from future participation
in Grand Reward program.
10. Grand Reward shall maintain
timely communication with all Members, sending a bimonthly Report
of their account activity, provided that there were activity during
the time period covered by such a Report. The Grand
Reward program shall not be liable for delivery delays,
lost mail, or whatever consequences regarding the granting of Rewards
resulting therefrom. It shall also not be liable for address changes
not notified by Member to Grand Reward
.
11. Grand Reward is a personalized
program: account balances and material on Special Promotions and
Awards shall be delivered to the address indicated by Member during
the enrollment process. Account balance statements cannot be reissued
or re-sent.
12. The Grand Reward program
reserves the right to review any Member’s earned points. Issuance
of Rewards may be suspended until any discrepancy or anomaly observed
is satisfactorily resolved.
13. The Grand Reward program
reserves the right to deduct any points erroneously credited to
a Member, also reserving the right to grant additional points due
to Promotional Point-Earning Campaigns, which shall be informed
to Members in a timely fashion, or as compensation or good will.
For the purposes of such point bonuses, Grand
Reward reserves the right to grant them to a portion
or segment of program Members, as per the parameters of any such
specific promotion or as it deems convenient, without this implying
obligation whatever to grant said points to all Members.
14. . In the event of loss of a Membership Card, Member must inform
the Grand Reward program requesting a replacement.
15. In order to accrue Grand Reward program benefits, Member’s stay must be at
the highest rate available to the public. No Grand
Reward points will be earned for Award Stays.
16. In order to be able to make retroactive adjustments to account,
Member must keep all receipts/vouchers issued to them when using
their card at the Grand Hotel Tijuana Front Desk.
17. Point accrual may be requested by Member for previous operations
that meet the requirements set forth herein, up to six months after
the date of the operation, by presenting the documentation listed
in the preceding paragraph. The Grand Reward program reserves the right to verify all
documentation presented for extemporaneous point accrual, with the
provision that the Member must have enrolled in the program prior
to incurring the expenses in question.
18. No points shall be earned for stays, products, or services purchased
prior to Member’s enrollment in the Grand Reward program.
19. Points shall be earned only for authorized, qualifying stays.
No points shall be earned for benefits derived from rewards in hospitality
services generated by other benefits offered by theGrand
Reward program.
No points shall be earned for banquets or special events or for
food and beverage or other expenses during Award Stays.
20. Earned points are nontransferable and non-negotiable, and may
not be combined between Grand Reward program Members. The provisions set forth
for point earning apply on an individual basis. Points transferred
from affiliated programs will be redeemed according to said program’s
terms and conditions.
21. In the event of death, only the Member’s spouse or direct descendants
shall be able to use points he/she had earned, for any of the Rewards
in the Grand Reward catalog, except transfer to airline programs.
Death Certificate must be presented as proof of the Member’s passing.
22. Benefit coupons cannot be combined and are not applicable to
Reward Stays.
23. Expired points cannot be reactivated.
B. Grand Reward Membership

1. “Member” is any individual enrolled in the Grand Reward program.
2. Members will earn one (1) point for each Peso spent during their
stay at Grand Hotel Tijuana.
C. Grand Reward Regular Membership

Members who stay 12 nights in one year, paying as a minimum the
Grand Reward preferred rate, shall be considered Regular
Members of the Grand Reward program. A minimum of 1,000 points is guaranteed
per night in our Standard rooms, and 1,500 per night stay in Grand
Club at Grand Hotel Tijuana. Purchases made in Grand Hotel-managed
shops and restaurants will also earn points.
3. In order for Members to earn points, it will be necessary to
give their Grand Reward Membership number when making a reservation
or upon arrival to the Hotel
4. Points are valid for two years from the date they are earned.
Any unused points will be eliminated automatically.
D. Grand Reward Gold Membership

1. Members who stay at least 13 nights in one year, paying as a
minimum the Grand Rewardpreferred
rate, shall be considered Gold Members of the Grand Reward program, and will remain as such for at least
twelve months from the date they became a Gold Member.
2. In order to retain their status as a Gold Member of the Grand
Rewardprogram beyond the 12 months, Members must stay
at least 13 nights at the Grand Hotel Tijuana, paying as a minimum
the Grand Reward preferred rate,
during the twelve months immediately following their becoming a
Gold Member Grand Reward.
3. Gold Members will earn one point for every Peso spent during
their stay at the Grand Hotel. A minimum of 1,000 points is guaranteed
per night in our Standard rooms, and 1,500 per night stay in Grand
Club at Grand Hotel Tijuana. Purchases made in Grand Hotel-managed
shops and restaurants will also earn points. An additional 10% point-bonus
shall be earned at this level.
4. In order for Gold Members to earn points, it will be necessary
to give their Grand Reward Membership
number when making a reservation or upon arrival to the Hotel.
5. Points are valid for two years from the date they are earned.
Any unused points will be eliminated automatically.
E. Grand Reward Platinum Membership

1. Members who stay at least 37 nights in one year, paying as a
minimum the Grand Reward preferred
rate, shall receive the special status of Platinum Members of the
Grand Reward program, and will
remain as such for at least twelve months from the date they obtained
said status.
2.In order to retain their status as a Platinum Member of the Grand
Reward program beyond the 12 months, Members must stay
at least 37 nights at the Grand Hotel Tijuana, paying as a minimum
the Grand Reward preferred rate,
during the twelve months immediately following their becoming a
Platinum Member of Grand Reward.
3. Platinum Members will earn one point for every Peso spent during
their stay at the Grand Hotel. A minimum of 1,000 points is guaranteed
per night in our Standard rooms, and 1,500 per night stay in Grand
Club at Grand Hotel Tijuana. Purchases made in Grand Hotel-managed
shops and restaurants will also earn points. An additional 10% point-bonus
shall be earned at this level.
4. Upon reaching Platinum status in the Grand
Rewardprogram, all of the Member’s previously earned
points, and all points earned from then on, both during qualifying
stays at the Grand Hotel Tijuana and from Grand
Rewardparticipating companies, shall no longer have a
specific expiration date, so long as the Member remains at the Platinum
level of the Grand Reward program.
5. In order for Platinum Members to earn points, it will be necessary
to give their Grand Reward In

The Hotel will be able to verify Membership Level electronically,
and grant Member all benefits he/she is entitled to, regardless
of type of card shown.

reserves the right to modify the conditions for obtaining benefits,
in particular the rewards, bonuses, and number of points needed,
or to cancel the Rewards package in full, with or without notice,
and effective immediately
2. Reward redemption is subject to the restrictions established
for such a purpose, and is subject to availability.
3. When a Member has earned enough points for a particular Reward,
he/she may request it by contacting Guest services, in México at
01 800 028 2025 or in the US at 1 866 224 9779. If the Member
still has points left once the necessary points are deducted, these
shall be kept in his/her account by the Grand
Reward program, where they will remain for the aforementioned
time period.
4. If a Member is short of points to obtain a particular Reward
Grand Reward may sell him/her
up to 40% of the points needed, at a cost of US$11/1,000 points.
5. By applying to receive a Reward, the Member authorizes points
to be taken and deducted from his/her account as necessary for the
corresponding Reward, in accordance with the Rewards Table in effect
on the date of the application; the oldest qualifying points in
the account will be deducted first. Additional restrictions may
apply to certain Rewards. It is the Member’s responsibility to stay
up to date with promotion conditions and/or restrictions and usage
of points.
6. Any taxes, commissions, delivery fees, or duties generated by
Rewards claimed are the sole responsibility of the Member requesting
the Reward.
7. Grand Reward reserves the
right to reject any reservation request made without indication
or notification of its being a Reward Stay request.
8. Member may at times be required to provide a credit card to guarantee
a reservation made using Reward points.
9. Reward Stay reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance.
Reward Stay reservations may not be made at Hotel Desk, but only
through calling our Grand Reward office or via grandreward@grandhoteltij.com.mx.
Reward Stay reservations may be cancelled, free of charge, provided it
is done at least 48 hours prior to their expected arrival at the
Hotel. Failure to do so will result in the loss of the points equivalent
to the number of nights reserved.
10. Grand Reward reserves the
right to charge all applicable taxes.
11. During Holidays and Peak Season, there is a limited number of
Reward Stays allowed; therefore we suggest you make your reservation
as far in advance as possible. We at the Grand Reward program pledge to do our absolute best to
accommodate your request, or offer alternative solutions.
12. Grand Reward reserves the
right to change or modify Seasons without notice or liability.
13. Claiming Rewards: Member shall have up to 45 days to pick up
Reward at the place he/she indicated when redeeming said Reward,
and up to 3 months if picked up at our Corporate Offices. Once this
period has expired, the program cannot be held responsible for its
delivery and points will not be replaced. Once an Award/article
has been requested, there shall be no cancellations.
14. Claiming Certificates and Movie Tickets: Expiration dates will
be provided at the time the request is made. Member must take into
account request processing and delivery time. There shall be no
expiration date changes or replacements.
15. Transfer to Other Participating Programs.
15.1. In order to be able to transfer Grand
Reward program points to any other participating frequent
customer program, Member must be previously enrolled in the corresponding
program.
15.2. Transfers may only be made to other accounts held by Member,
and in the case of Mexican airlines it shall be of at least 20,000
points, and therefrom in 10,000-point increments.
15.3. Grand Reward shall not
be liable for the availability of rewards offered by other participating
programs.
15.4. Any points transferred from another program into Grand
Reward may be used for any of the Rewards offered by
the program, except transfer to other participating programs.
15.5. Service charge applies. 1. In order to transfer points
to any other participating program, there shall be a $10-dollar
service charge for every 10,000 points transferred.*
2. Prior to requesting a transfer, Member must already be enrolled
in the corresponding program. Transfers may only be made into
participating programs in the Member’s name.
*If the Member has stayed 2 or more nights at Grand Hotel Tijuana
over the last 12 months, service charge will be waived – includes
Award Stays-.
1. Corporate accounts shall receive a fixed number of points for
all of the rooms generated by their employees: 500 points/night in our Standard rooms,
and 750 points/night at Grand Club.
2. Point accrual applies only when paying the highest rate available
to the public.
3. Corporate accounts DO NOT accrue kilometers/miles for stays,
nor do they earn points for personal accounts.
4. A maximum of 10 Reward rooms may be obtained, with prior reservation
and subject to availability.
5. Corporate Accounts are eligible for all Rewards in Grand
Reward program, except for point transfer to airline
programs. |
